Today we've continued with the vocals. 6th of December was not doable as we had (a great) show in Oulu. Unbelievable crowd there, kudos to you all!
It's always nice when you have something waiting for for at the hotel :) |
My namesake had dressed accordingly for the Finnish Independence Day |
As for the recordings, we now have 4 songs pretty much ready and 2 that are getting there. Slowly but surely this whole thing is coming together, and if I wasn't an atheist I'd thank God for that. Now I guess I have to thank Timo, and a little bit myself as well :)
:D We will thank God instead of you after we'll hear the album.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense, because it was in a fact god who wrote, played, sang, recorded, mixed, mastered and released the album :)
DeleteOf course. You only help sometimes :D..... We know it's you and boys who did it and we esteem you for that.
DeleteOh yeah, now you are God, but god shouldn't love satan, don't you?
DeleteDo you atheists celebrate Christmas?
ReplyDeleteYes, as well as Saturnalia and Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. They are all kinda neatly packed for some strange reason. Don't give a shit about any of those, but any excuse to drink is a great holiday in my books :)
DeleteNope, I think they celebrate Timo's birthday instead.
DeleteI had to Google those... where the heck did you get your vocabulary?
DeleteNothing strange here, ancient beliefs blended among Christian holidays.
DeleteHave you visited Korvatunturi?
(I've just decided to write a letter with my wishes to Joulupukki at Korvatunturi :D)
I would actually go so far as to say at the time common beliefs fused into a back then brand new belief system so it would encounter the least amount of resistance possible, but hey, what do I know :)
DeleteI suppose, you are right. At the same time they tried to resist the pagan tradition and give a new meaning to the holidays and they succeeded, in the end we celebrate Christmas and not a birth of Mithra or Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. (As for me, I celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar on January 7th and Saturnalia reminds me only of "Spartacus" by Giovagnoli:))
Deletepulling an all-nighter again? was hoping you wouldn't do that during recording, you know lack of sleep messes with singer's voice more than drinking, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm aware of that, and Timo sleeps enough for the recordings, as he is the one singing. I have to do edits and write lyrics and whatnot, there's only a finite amount of hours per day I have at my disposal so I take what I get.
DeleteTell me you will be still alive by the time your album's ready.
DeleteI make no such promise :)
Deletewas it or not a great show? it sounds confused or my english level is not enough for understand that :p
ReplyDeleteIt was a great show :)
DeleteWhen god will come to brazil ? After the album release ? Maybe never ? Hahaha
ReplyDeleteAnd finish these 2 songs for you love! (For the love of god)
