I fucking hate trailers, they are completely useless for me. As I already know CO will be amazing then I prefer to get the full thing in my hands and discover it by myself in 100%. Just saying, maybe some people need this.. Jani, some preorders or merch are planned?
Sounds very good indeed, different enough compared to the first album but I can hear your "handwriteing" still. Thanks for the releasingdate, makes my spring more joyable... hopefully
The guitar part's kinda disappointing when you just play the same boring rhythms over and over, has it become too much for you to come up with better riffs?
first - this is not guitar oriented music, second - this is power metal , third - this type of riffs is CONSTANT and canonical, fourthly - this is Janis style of playing/writing. WTF are you talking about?
Even Sonata Arctica was the same. I always thought that was the direction the band wanted for the guitars, but there was always a killer solo in every song. Isn't all power metal like that though anyways.
At least you managed to write some nice vocal lines here and there... Maybe you'll be better off writing disco or trance music, where a good structure is not vital to the songs.
P.S.: Did you really write My Selene yourself? It's sounds a bit too good compared to these.
I don't get this...how on earth is it even possible to form opinions like this from 45 second clips. :D Perhaps listen the whole album and full songs and then think whatever you want.
I hope you don't treat people the same way you seem to treat songs, "Okay, I've heard a few words, there's nothing special in you." I really dare you to listen to all of them from the beginning to end and say that they're not amazing. I have faith in your skills, Jani.
I'm not disappointed at all! It sounds impressively good! Great job!!!! :) Eagerly awaiting for the release (and some gig maybe ...) Thank you and keep up the melody-driven symphonic epicness! PS hope there're more of your memorable solos tough :)
I've been preparing for that for a while, but it sounds okay. Can't wait for the release.

Deletemixing sound really amazing. but i dont understand this type of guitar tone. i like tone from first album.
DeleteMight be a matter of taste then cuz to me the guitar tone is a lot better than the one one the first album
DeleteI totally agree with Guillaume, the tone on the first album was so raw.

DeleteHave you ever listened to Sydänpuu? Jani can write way better than you give him credit for.
