Been working on the song we wrote with Timo while at Lappajärvi, and it's starting to sound really good. Feels nice to work on some melodic metal for a change, haven't written a song like this in ages. Beautiful melodies, heavy guitar riffs, double kick beats... Basically everything a growing kid needs :)
But it's getting late, and as I'm planning on hitting the gym tomorrow before continuing on some songwriting I think I should hit the hay and get some sleep. C U!
Did I read Melodic Metal?!
ReplyDeleteI hope listen to this baby soon! *-*
This is the kind of stuff I've been waiting for...so excited to hear how this sounds, maybe its something I could hear at the gym too :p
ReplyDeleteGood news! The world needs your songs Mr. Liimatainen, so keep on delight us with your music, and let's hope I won't have to wait far too long to hear them live!!
ReplyDeleteYou really need to continue the Cain's Offering work! It was just... AWESOME! I just can't describe how I love the intrumetal part of it, the heavy guitar with muting notes and the keyboard just shreding off... I really hope to see another album of it, and more stuff like My Queen Of Winter and Morpheus in a Masquerade.
ReplyDeleteI almost didn't even believe when I saw that you wrote it all by yourself.
It feels really good to know that you are working on that kind of stuff again.
That's some good news, man! Can't fucking wait to hear your new songs!
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Happy Musician's Day! :D
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Congrats! :)
