One more song written for the next Cain-album. At the moment I have 8 sure songs and 2 on the "maybe" pile. We are getting there :)
Tomorrow it's time to head back to Lappajärvi again, writing and rehearsing with Mr.T and on Friday it's time to head up north and play a fantastically acoustic rock show in my beloved Kemi, that's always fun :) Saturday is an acoustic festival in Oulu and after that it's back to writing again.
Have fun and don't get hurt again :)

Hi Jani! I was wondering if you could explain how you go about writing a song; like the process, if there is one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThere really isn't a "process" to speak of. Usually I just start playing on the keyboards or put on a drum loop and noodle on top of it. At some point I play something that sounds interesting enough and then I'll just working on that idea from there.
DeleteI have never really analysed my work process, should maybe do that :)
I guess you should not, otherwise all the magic can vanish.:)
