Seems just plain and simple as it could be! Keys parts are really nice, can't wait to hear the final version! Two other things I noticed: - Ahrti seems a really nice dude! - Suomi is pronounced way too fast for me!!!!
Whoa. I'm having a minor heart attack, that's going to be so awesome. Sounds like a cross between SIG and Järjestyshäiriö, only much better than either one of those. I might be fangirling you a teeny-tiny bit right now.
Hah, I remember Ahti's voice from For The Sake of Revenge dvd :D in the documentary he was asked about money and stuff :D he was also giving lessons about speaking in Finnish to one of the german tech support guys, my memory doesn't fail ^^
Jani, You look quite good, You know that? :D I must go back to paying You more respect which You obviously deserve, but reading Your blog all the time made me think of You more as of a friend than in idol :D sorry for that ^_^
I went to Sonata Arctica concert in Chile ... when someone in the audience threw a shirt that said "Jani Forever" ... Tony Kakko starts laughing and says "We will not forget ever, but this is very old, and Elias have played with us more times than Jani" and "The Gun" started to sound...
Saw them here in Argentina this past Sunday. Sure I would've given a kidney to see Jani up there, but no reason to throw shit on this Elias guy, he looks like a fine guy and he can play the songs good enough. He's not responsible for Jani being out and ultimately is all in the past.
That being said, I wouldn't mind if Jani wants to drop by South America with some future project someday :P
Elias is ok , but just that... he seems to me like too technical, he´s not putting his heart on stage... of course he doesn´t deserve that kind of rudeness... Btw, and as I always say : Jani, please come to Argentina !!
and jani ant technical lol elias is a great player people are to stupid to see that once you hear his solo album you will see what i am talking about sonata is in a new chapter and people still talk about jani he left band that was back in 07
WTF, you guys still on that? Let it go already, seriously. How long do you actually plan on keeping this up? Do we still after have to do this in 2023 as well?
I mean, I do appreciate the support, however ill advised it may be in this case, but still, give it a rest already. Why can't I do my own shit, why do people keep whining that I should "go back"? Isn't this a Win-Win situation anyways, you get the brilliance that is SA and as a bonus you also get some stuff from me?
Still on what ?!?! ... in my defense, I was just saying how rude were those guys that threw the shirt to Elias ! ... i´m actually not a big fan of his, but that kind of actitude is not cool... btw, i´m not claiming you to come back to SA... It´s great that you keep on working and creating other songs and new stuff... anyway... don´t get angry, Jani !!
Just a question jani how often do you still practise on the guitar? *not just jamming i mean really practising arpeggios scales chords theory* you just seem to play games these days, kind of reminds me of myself lol. P.s try make a video of you jamming over a few backing tracks* miss the good old shred days.
Not as often as I should, I suppose. The thing is, when I feel like working on music I prefer to write something new instead of just practicing the technical/mechanical aspects of playing guitar. Not saying there's anything wrong with grinding that shit, I just find it way more rewarding to try and create something new.
Despite the lyrics, the melody evokes feelings of liberation, farewell and healing. (Although it is certainly nothing more than a subjective impression.) Great song!
So who did the keyboard parts that were already done? you?
ReplyDeleteYep
DeleteAre the lyrics of this new song in the Finish language?
ReplyDeleteYep

ReplyDeleteWhat synth did you use mate? Sounds very good and fat! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteNemanja
It's just some synth plugins + Miroslav Philharmonik for the orchestra.
DeleteSong sounds just like that I could party to it all night long! Very cathchy synth riffs there! Can't wait to hear it with guitars and vocals!
