Oh, those double standards:

The new James LaBrie single...

Is surprisingly good! Better than anything that Dream Theater has done in a long time, IMO that is. Unfortunately the quality of the writing is not as stellar throughout the whole album, but the single is still pretty damn catchy. You can check it out for instance here:

Jogging and working

Started the day by working on an old demo of mine, now it's actually starting to sound pretty good, I'm liking what I'm hearing. After that I went running for 7,5km and after that it was time to have a shower and something to eat. Then Timo send me the files of two of our old demos so I can continue working on those as well. Seems like I'm having one of my more creative periods again, but I'm not complaining. It's nice to have a job you actually (sometimes) like :)

...what???

Invest in gear, it'll make you happy

I went and bought myself a pair of Genelec monitors for my home setup, and damn do they sound good! Made me inspired to work on music all day, maybe now I can celebrate with a drink or five. The monitors were pretty expensive, but I've always wanted a pair of those (got small ones, as I have no need for speakers that can kill your neighbours and their dog) and now I have them. One day of listening to them and I can already say that it was money WELL spent!

It has to be!

American Idol Rejects Sue Producers For Discrimination

Gimme a fucking break... If you don't happen to succeed it's immediately discrimination and racism? Well, Michael Jackson has sold shitloads more than me, and he was (well, used to be) black. This has to be some kind of discrimination against me! Who can I sue?

Female drivers...

They CAN be dangerous
