Mental note:

Laphroaig is great mental fuel for writing lyrics. Warmly recommend it.

    1. You really think I would waste good whiskey to get drunk? My general strategy is to enjoy one or two glasses of the quality stuff, after that you're starting to get too intoxicated to appreciate it anymore, so I move on to other stuff :)

Some friends buy whiskey and vodka from supermarkets at 3-5 euros... just to get drunk.
They say that the whiskey of 25+ euros are just to enjoy, and even their hangovers with that whiskey (25+ euros) are just a pleasure.
